You read that right, 6mm Creedmoor. The much talked about 6.5 Creedmoor now has a baby brother, necked down to accept 6.0mm (.243 caliber) bullets. The result is even less recoil–as if the 6.5 wasn’t a soft enough shooter.
To launch these little pills, Savage has just introduced the Model 10 GRS precision long-range rifle, which should be a hit with both
match shooters and long-range hunters. Combined with such an accurate, low recoil cartridge, the GRS should nail coyotes, antelope, and whitetail deer at ranges beyond the ever popular .243 Winchester.
Model 10 GRS features include:
- A fiberglass-reinforced Durethan stock with adjustable pull length and comb height, and rubber grip surfaces. The stock also has a bipod mount pre-installed.
- A 26 inch fluted heavy barrel with suppressor-ready, threaded muzzle.
- Savage’s wonderful AccuTrigger
- 10 round magazine
Suggested retail is $1449.00. See you local Savage retailer for more details.
