For most folks, big game season winds down in November or December. Don’t hit the couch with a hot drink and the remote, though. You–yes, you–have work to do. In truth, there is little down time between seasons for real hunters. In many places, small game is huntable year round. A perfect opportunity to add more meat to the freezer and keep those stalking and shooting skills in top condition. To add more fun, take a quality air rifle into the field rather than a firearm.
